Membership

The WCCB welcomes volunteer players from wide variety of musical backgrounds. When positions are open to support a balanced concert band instrumentation, the band accepts new members who are qualified musically to the satisfaction of the Conductor. The Conductor will assign players to the appropriate section; the Section Leader will determine which part a member plays within that section. New members should join within the first two rehearsals of each concert session (fall, winter, summer).

High school band musicians are welcome to join the band for the summer session.

Dues

To help support the functioning of the band, we ask each member to pay a $20 fee per fall and winter sessions (no dues for summer). All dues collected go into the band's general fund to purchase new equipment, music, and other essential items.

Rehearsals

The Washtenaw Community Concert Band rehearses weekly on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 PM (there are no rehearsals in August).
